Kyra Miniturn Sedgwick has been known as a well-known American actor on film and TV over the course of many years. Her character as lead in the TV show , 'The Closer which is a hit all over the world as well as in America specifically. Sedgwick has always had an interest in art, Broadway and performing since the age of 12. Her mother showed a keen interest in the Broadway and brought her into it. Sedgwick's debut acting gig was in a television show called 'Another World. It was when she was just 16 years old. Sedgwick went on to play smaller roles on TV, but it was the thought that she could be a famous actress that attracted her. In the film "Born during the 4th of July" with Tom Cruise also starred, Sedgwick was noticed for the first time in a large screen. Sedgwick was able to continue getting roles as she was successful with the film. There were some other roles in films such as Singles, Heart and Souls and Phenomenon. The TV film called 'Lemon sky in which she got to know the actor and husband of her Kevin Bacon and got married to him when she was barely 22. Sedgwick is a household name on American TV with her easy performance. The Closer ran for seven seasons, and she won many awards like the Golden Globe.
